HotKV's official client libraries for C, C++, C#, Elixir, Go, Java, Node.js, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Rust are open source software, licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The full license text is in the LICENSE file of every library repository, which also carries a NOTICE file.
The license covers the client libraries only. The HotKV server and HotKV Cloud are commercial products and are licensed separately; their enterprise commands need a HotKV license on the server side.
"HotKV" is a trademark of HotKV Ltd. The Apache License does not grant any right to use it, except to describe where the software comes from.
HotKV is an independent product. It is not Redis, Valkey, Dragonfly or KeyDB, and HotKV Ltd is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Redis Ltd., the Valkey project, DragonflyDB or KeyDB. Redis is a registered trademark of Redis Ltd. Valkey, Dragonfly, KeyDB and all other product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners.
